Heat Loss Survey
Identify the key areas of heat loss in your property to reduce your heating bills this winter
A heat loss survey looks at how and where you are losing valuable heat from your property to give you the information you need to improve insulation and cut out drafts.
Heat Leaks use the latest in thermal imaging cameras to take pictures which show the warm and cold spots of your home. These cameras detect infrared energy which is presented in a visual image which we use to produce an easy to understand report on your property.
You might suspect that you live in a badly insulated house because you know how difficult it can be to keep it warm and comfortable. You might notice cold rooms or cupboards. Small sections of missing insulation can make a huge difference and will raise your energy bills unnecessarily.
You can't see where you're missing insulation so it's a frustrating problem to try and tackle. However, at Heat Leaks we are able to help you find missing insulation with our thermal imaging cameras. We can inspect the inside and outside of your house with our handheld cameras and also do external roof inspections with our drones which are also equipped with thermal cameras.
The Heats Leaks survey process is straightforward. We’ll survey your home, large or small, and provide an easy to understand report without lots of technical jargon. For best results, we need a 10°C temperature difference between outside and inside so it's best to perform a survey when the outside temperature is less than 10°C.
